The sound was recorded with a yeti blue microphone in my room (which is not soundproofed). It is a recording of a turkey baster dropping water into a bowl full of water. Sound has many patterns of water droplets.
It's me, coughing hard and wet. Disguisting, but usefull sample of 4 cough attacks. Recorded with zoom h2 via usb into ardour daw. Originally 48 khz / 16 bit wav, converted to flac using ardour. The recording is unprocessed and unedited.
Rain: the sound was created through foley. It is the very prominent pitter-patter part of rain. It is clear and very sharp. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a sound studio. This is useful when you just want the sound of rain droplets unaccompanied by wind or other elements usually associated with rain.
Sound of cars which are passing in a wet street. Sound recorded with a zoom h4n pro and a rycote mini wind screen. Son de passage de voitures dans une rue après une averse. Son enregistré avec un zoom h4n pro et une bonnette rycote mini wind screen. Campus road traffic in bloomington, in. Multiple vehicles passing by, including a bus that completely stops with air brake on the right. Wet street due to rain, so tires squeak as they move. Recorded on a roland r-05 recorder.
I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.
Sound of rain in a france’s city (le mans). Sound recorded with a zoom h4n pro and a rycote mini wind screen. Son de la pluie dans une ville française (le mans). Sound of a single droplet. The standard sound for like a leaky faucet or a drop hitting a puddle or bucket of water. I actually made this sound with my mouth and tapping my cheek at the same time, but it is a very convincing drop sound, which can easily be looped at the speed you want for that "continuous drop" sound in the background.
A tap turning on and the splattering of water on the ground, before the tap is turned off (sorry for the wind blowing in the mic, it was a windy day and i didn't get to re-do it).
Wet peas dropped in a glass bowl. Recorded through audacity with an audio technica a2020 microphone. I reduced some backround noise and sent it through a high pass to reduce low frequencies.
